| Desert Foothills Steering Committee and Staff
Desert Foothills Theater's steering committee consists of a dedicated, hardworking and fun group of volunteers who guide the theater through its administrative and artistic endeavors. A sub committee of the Foothills Community Foundation, the DFT Steering Committee is responsible for oversight of the activities of DFT.
In our 2007/2008 season we have begun a strategic planning process kicked off by a full-day consultancy with consultant Esther Groves with funding support from the Arizona Commission on the Arts. We developed a "vision" for DFT to move us into our planning for the next three years. That mission is to "Focus on community in our community theater". We are focused on providing the services and productions that are important to our community.
We are always looking for steering committee members to join our subcommittees. Steering committee membership is a great way to support a wonderful organization while learning more about those things that make a theater run well. We have some very experienced steering committee chair people who are great to work with. Come join us and have fun while learning a LOT along the way!
