Hot' N Cole: A Cole Porter Celebration opening January 11.

Hot 'N Cole features a stellar cast of talented singers including the return of Lizz Reeves and Chris Fidler, both of whom performed in November's production of A Grand Night for Singing.  Hot 'N Cole is a concert-style musical review featuring over 50 of Cole Porter's most famous tunes set to some beautifully complex contemporary arrangements.

The cast includes six amazing singers taking on some of the fabulous harmonies that make Porter's work so memorable.  They are led by music director Bill Moore who will also perform a role in the show. Shannon Wallace, Charlie Jourdan and Valerie Saunders round out the amazing cast.

Cole Porter's jazzy melodies and clever rhymes make his tunes some of the most memorable in musical theater.

From "I Get a Kick out of You" to "Anything Goes" to "Night and Day", Hot 'N Cole features many of the composers best-known tunes.

Porter's musical style -- Broadway with a "cool" jazz feel--offers a wonderfully solid foundation for a variety of interpretations.  A 1990 release of his works performed by contemporary artists highlighted the timelessness of his creations.

Emmy Award-winning choreographer and director Dee Dee Wood has offered to direct this show for Desert Foothills Theater.  DFT’s production is an eclectic, contemporary focus on the  words and music of Cole Porter. This fresh approach incorporates everything from vaudeville to pop through many of Porter’s best-loved songs.

The cast includes six amazing singers taking on some of the fabulous harmonies that make Porter's work so memorable.  Chris Fidler and Lizz Reeves return to Desert Foothills after their fall performances in A Grand Night For Singing.  They are led by music director Bill Moore who will also perform a role in the show, and are joined by Shannon Wallace and Valerie Saunders in what is a truly amazing cast.
